The Aromatherapy Company is New Zealand’s leading supplier of home fragrance and body care products. Established in 1990, it has become a major force in natural products in New Zealand and internationally. Aromatherapy uses 100% pure and natural essential oils containing no additives. The Aromatherapy Company’s ranges include essential oils, blends, all-natural body oils and natural soy wax candles, designed to bring the benefits of essential oil into everyday life.

My role involved in leading the art direction, creative strategy, deliver digital applications, design new packaging and execute visual experiences. Working closely with our founder, design and product development team, we created and distributed over 40 new ranges internationally for export customers. Our vision was to continuously evolve the brand to speak to new and existing consumers, while ensuring the brand would still test of time. All packaging designs created were well considered, ensuring the visual story was communicated through colours and typography for each range. The aim was to become global force in creating pure and natural body care for everyday consumers to use worldwide.

Creative Strategy

Developed seasonal campaigns for product launches, developed new creative for ecommerce website, art direction, packaging and visual windows design. 

Social Media

Managed and executed with our design team to produce new content and imagery for all social channels. Launched instagram account in 2013 and grew followers to 11,000 by 2015, at the time when brands started using Instagram for brand growth. 


Developed and designed over 40 home fragrance ranges for bespoke retail stores and wholesalers internationally exclusively under the Aromatherapy Brand.
